Swirl comes from San Francisco, where she worked at various Montgomery Street financial institutions, doing Information Technology (IT) work. Eleven years ago, she retired her “dressed for success” shoes, briefcase, and Muni Fast Pass, and left the corporate world forever. She has no regrets. Swirl has worked seasonally for Momentum since 2005. She takes care of Momentum’s payroll, Accounts Receivable & Payable, and works in the office 3.5 days a week booking trips. In the off season, Swirl can be found working in Lake Tahoe at ski resorts.

Lucy was born on March 20, 2008 and has been “working” at Momentum since she was ten weeks old. Lucy likes to chew bones, take walks, and sleep. She is a great guard dog and can’t wait to get out on the river!

After many recommendations and a visit from the owner (along with about 50 french presses and types of coffee) we have a new coffee on all of our rafting trips from Noble Coffee (from right here in Southern Oregon). Here is a little bit about the company:
