Pete Walstrom, the owner of Momentum River Expeditions, puts his years of experience and expertise into the management of what just might be the best commercial rafting company in North America. The trips are spectacular beyond description, the guides are the best of the best, the food is incomparable, and the customers are treated like royalty. I especially would like to recommend the Cal Salmon trip and the Illinois River trip. The Illinois is one of the most incredible canyons I have ever seen, let alone rafted on. The combination of lush flora, thundering rapids, and isolation make it nearly indescribable.

I think I have been on a half dozen trips with Momentum (and dozens with other river outfitters so I know what I am talking about in this one limited area). Momentum rocks! Absolutely the best in every category. The guides are unbelievable in their knowledge of the suroundings and in their ability to make everyone feel welcome and challenged. The food is first class. Every trip is pure fun from dawn till late night. Website does a spectacular job of helping to select the best trips -- with buddies, with kids or with the grandparents. Excellent value.

We had a wonderful Rogue trip in August with Anthony while visiting Oregon Shakespeaer Festival. Excellent logistics with Medford pick-up right at our hotel. I recommend Momentum staff, Anthony, and this trip as a perfect add-on to any summer visit to the Ashalnd festival. The Petersens

Very good instructor, gave us lots of historical background of the areas and was very knowledgeable. The rafting was great, refreshing, and the best part was at the end of the trip...its a suprise

We just returned from a 2-day rafting/camping trip with Momentum. Two fathers, two twelve-yr-old boys. We were a bit nervous about having our athletic but small boys do Class 4 rapids, but Anthony, Heather, and Derek did an absolutely awesome job. Everyone had a great time and no one went swimming at an inappropriate time. We highly recommend this outfit and Anthony as a guide.

First time river rafting at age 58 and we did class 4 rapids. We had early teen kids up to age 65 on our trip. With Eric's professionalism and experience and commands regularly blasting in my ear, we did great and I had an absolute blast. Would recommend this guide, company and trip without qualification to anyone.

Pete - wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the trip and the terrific side expeditions. It was all great. Especially wanted to thank you all for the wine tasting - it was really fun and the wine and cheese were delicious - April's did a really nice job - and so did Adam as our wine guide.
